Hello! It's been a while since my last post, which is due to my computer breaking and a fairly lengthy repair process. Since I've last posted I've done quite a bit; I've explored Phetchabun, been to Laos, and of course continued to teach! I'll share those stories in the coming weeks, but first I'd like to share how things are going and what is new in my world.
I still think of Louisville as home, but for the next 5 months (at least) I will be living in a wonderful little Thai town known as Mueang Phetchabun.
Just a bit outside the city of Chiang Mai is a mountain known as Doi Suthep. This mountain is home to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which is one of the most sacred sites in Thailand dating back to the 14th century. It also features numerous hill tribe villages and stunning natural beauty.
Hello all! Hope this post finds you well. As I sit in the Chiang Mai airport awaiting my flight to Bangkok (which I have very mixed feelings about), I figured it would be a good time to give an update on my time spent in Chiang Mai.
